Be Fit is a fun, upbeat cardio & resistance class that blends movement, muscle, and music to help you feel fitter week after week. Designed by Diane Singleton at DS Fitness Barrow-in-Furness, Be Fit is a full body workout, progressive training, and a motivating playlist to build strength, stamina, and confidence.

What Happens in a DS Be Fit Class?

When you walk into DS Be Fit, you’ll feel the music, the energy, and the support straight away. The entire class follows a clear, predictable structure so you always know what’s coming next.

1. Warm-Up

We ease you in with gentle mobility, light cardio, and simple movements to get your body ready. Nothing complicated, nothing rushed.

2. Cardio with Weights Section

This section lifts your energy without overwhelming you. You’ll move in ways that support everyday life: stepping, reaching, rotating, and building confidence in your body.

3. Strength Training

We use the movement patterns that help your body work better outside the gym. Expect squats, lunges, hinges, pushes, pulls, rotations, and stepping patterns that build strength and tone. Everything is layered with easy options, so beginners and regulars can train side by side.

4. Finisher

A short burst that helps you feel accomplished and strong. It’s designed to challenge you just enough, leaving you proud of what your body can do.

5. Core & Reconditioning

We finish with gentle core work and mobility to reset your posture, settle your breath, and leave you feeling restored rather than exhausted.
