I’m Diane Singleton, and I created the Core Rebuild Method to help people of all fitness levels move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with their body’s true centre. These unique in-person classes—held every Tuesday 10.30 am and Saturday 10.00am in Barrow-in-Furness —blend flow-based movement, breathwork, glute and spinal activation, and functional core work into one intelligent training system. Whether you’re recovering, just starting, or ready to take your training to the next level, you’ll leave every session more aligned, resilient, and confident in your body.

What to Expect in Class

Each Core Rebuild session is structured to guide you through our  flow-based sections. These aren’t random movements—they’re carefully selected to activate, restore, and realign your body from the inside out.

You’ll experience:

❓ Core Rebuild – Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from my first class?

You’ll be welcomed warmly, and guided through each flow with clear, supportive coaching. No pressure to “keep up”—everything is adaptable to your level and comfort. You’ll feel stronger, taller, and more connected to your body by the end.

Do I need to be fit to join?

Absolutely not. Core Rebuild is for every level—from those returning after injury to regular exercisers seeking a smarter, deeper way to move.

Will this help with my back pain or poor posture?

Yes. The method is specifically designed to decompress the spine, activate underused muscles like glutes and deep core, and realign posture through gentle but effective movement flows.

What’s the difference between the 30- and 45-minute classes?

The 45-minute class covers all 7 flows for a full-body reset. The 30-minute version focuses on 4–5 targeted flows, ideal for busy days or as a gentle intro.

Is this like Pilates or Yoga?

There are some overlaps in breathing and alignment, but Core Rebuild is a unique flow method blending functional training, mobility work, and posture restoration. It’s more structured than yoga, and more movement-focused than traditional Pilates.

How often should I attend to feel a difference?

Many feel improvements in posture, breath, and stability after just one class. Ideally, once or twice a week will help lock in lasting results.

What should I wear/bring?

Wear comfortable clothing and bring water. Mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own.

Can I come if I’ve had an injury or back issues?

Yes. Many clients join specifically to improve back pain, posture, and glute/core activation. Always check with your healthcare provider first, but this class is often a great next step after rehab.

Hi, I’m Diane Singleton—founder of DS Fitness Solutions and creator of the Core Rebuild Method here in Barrow-in-Furness. After years of working with clients who felt stiff, tired, or unsure of how to train their core safely, I developed this method to go beyond crunches and quick fixes.

My passion lies in helping real people move better, feel stronger, and rebuild trust in their bodies. Whether you’re restarting your fitness journey or just want to feel less “tight and tense,” Core Rebuild gives you the tools and support to move with confidence. Every class I teach is designed with care, backed by science, and taught with compassion.
